Municipality of Mojkovac - Office of the President, Chief City Architect, has announced an international competition for the Conceptual Design of the architectural reinterpretation of the old fortress and mining settlement in Brskovo, Mojkovac.
The subject of the conceptual design is the reinterpretation of the old mining fortress and settlement Brskovo, using known archaeological findings in Mojkovac and written data, on a new location with an area of 35,864.5m², and the narrower location for construction is approximately 13.41m² within the scope of the urban development plan of Mojkovac ("Official Gazette of Montenegro" No. 19/11 and 9/14 and 36/19) for which a lower-order plan has not been adopted. The location is intended for public and social facilities, with a specific focus on sports, recreation, and tourism as compatible uses.
Competition Deadlines:
The competition is open from Friday, February 2, 2024.
Participants can submit questions regarding the competition until Thursday, February 15, 2024, to the email address [email protected].
The deadline for submitting works is 23:59 (Local time in Montenegro) on Friday, April 5, 2024, to the email address [email protected].
The results of the competition will be announced by Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
After the jury's decision and submission of the final report, the competition results will be officially published on the Municipality's website www.mojkovac.me.

Eligibility:
Participants in the competition can be individuals with residence or headquarters in Montenegro, as well as individuals with residence or headquarters in another country, where at least one of the authors of the competition work (individual or leader of the author's team) must be a licensed architect. The license can be obtained in Montenegro or another country and must be submitted as part of the competition documentation.
The author or leader of the author's team may engage experts from other professions to improve the competition solution.
