Opština Mojkovac - Office of the President, the chief city architect, has announced a competition for the Architectural Concept Design of the Memorial Center dedicated to the Battle of Mojkovac at the location of Bojna njiva.
The subject of the architectural concept design is the construction of a memorial center dedicated to the Battle of Mojkovac, with the determined boundary within cadastral parcels No. 2289 and 2290, cadastral municipality Lepenac, within the spatial plan PUP "Mojkovac", with a planned area of 3,189.30 m².
The Memorial Center building should primarily be a place of remembrance and reverence for the heroes of the Battle of Mojkovac; a place symbolizing their inherent and intense presence in collective memory and as a center of social transformation; a place where the local community could gather to discuss and engage in vital social and civic issues of our time.
Competition format:
The competition for the architectural concept design of the memorial center is international, general, single-stage, and anonymous.
Competition deadlines:
The competition is open from Monday, April 1, 2024.
The deadline for submission of entries is Monday, June 3, 2024, until 13:00, at the address [email protected].
The results of the Competition will be announced by Monday, June 24, 2024.
The competition organizer will, after the jury's decision and submission of the final report, announce the results of the Competition on the official website of the Municipality www.mojkovac.me.

Eligibility:
The competition is open to individuals residing or domiciled in Montenegro, as well as individuals residing or domiciled in another country. At least one of the authors of the competition entry (individual or team leader) must be a qualified architect (licensed architect). The license may be obtained in Montenegro or another country and must be submitted as part of the competition documentation (as prescribed by the competition announcement).
Registration:
Registration is not required, participation in the competition is free.
